Delete your account and data
This page explains how to delete your Sports 360 account — the account used by the Sports 360 Android app (live.sports.app) and by sports360.live, both operated by Avance Africa.
Delete it yourself, in the app
This is immediate and needs no approval from us.
- 1Open the Sports 360 app and sign in, if you are not already signed in.
- 2Go to the Profile tab.
- 3Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account.
- 4Confirm when asked. Your account and the data listed below are removed.
Or ask us to delete it
If you cannot sign in, or you no longer have the app installed, email support@sports360.live from the address you signed up with, with the subject Delete my account. We confirm within two working days and complete the deletion within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your account and sign-in details (name, email address and profile photo)
- Saved articles, saved videos and reading history
- Comments you have posted
- Notification preferences and followed sports
- The device identifiers used to send you push notifications
Deletion is permanent. None of it can be restored.
What is kept, and for how long
- Aggregated, anonymous usage counts
- Already stripped of anything identifying you, so they cannot be traced back or separated out.
- Records we are required to keep by law
- Kept only where a legal obligation applies, then deleted. No longer than 90 days from your request.
Deleting your account does not remove news articles or videos — those belong to the publishers who produced them and Sports 360 only links to them. For everything else we hold, see our privacy policy, or contact us.
