The National Water and Sewerage Authority (Nawasa) advises the general public that major concrete pouring works will be undertaken at the Moliniere Reservoir site on Friday, 3 July 2026, as part of the Southern St George Water Supply Expansion Project (SSGWEP) – Lot 1.
The works are a critical component of the ongoing construction of the new reservoir and will require the continuous movement of ready-mix concrete trucks to and from the project site.
As a result, motorists and road users can expect temporary traffic delays in the Moliniere area between approximately 8:30 am and 3:30 pm.
To ensure the safety of motorists, pedestrians, and construction personnel, the Royal Grenada Police Force (RGPF) will be on site providing traffic management assistance throughout the operation.
Nawasa encourages all road users to:
These works form part of the UK Caribbean Infrastructure Fund (UKCIF)-funded Southern St George Water Supply Expansion Project, which will significantly strengthen Grenada’s water infrastructure and improve the reliability and resilience of the water supply system for thousands of customers.
Nawasa sincerely apologises for any inconvenience these temporary traffic disruptions may cause and thanks the public for its patience, understanding, and continued cooperation as we work to deliver this important national infrastructure project.
Nawasa
