The Ministry of Infrastructure, Public Utilities, Civil Aviation and Transportation informs the public of temporary traffic restrictions along Mt Alexander Road, St Patrick, commencing Monday, 21 September 2026, to facilitate critical road development and upgrade works.

During the period of construction, the roadway will remain open to traffic; however, one-lane traffic will be maintained through the affected area. Appropriate traffic control measures will be implemented to ensure the safe and orderly movement of vehicles. The work is expected to be completed within 4 weeks.

These works are necessary to facilitate extensive road improvement activities aimed at enhancing the safety, durability, and overall quality of the roadway. The project forms part of the Government’s ongoing efforts to upgrade the national road network and provide safer and more efficient transportation infrastructure for residents and motorists.
